Independence Day Outfit Inspiration

Fourth of July is tomorrow! Whatever you plan to do, whether it's spending your day off at home in front of the TV (because fyi, season 11 of Criminal Minds just came to Netflix), spending the day with family, or having a girls night out, you might as well look the part, even if it means throwing an American flag over you in the five seconds in between Netflix episodes. I thought I would throw out a few cute outfits for some inspiration if you are like me and tend to wear the same outfit every fourth.

Look Number One

This first one is a great casual look that doesn't require going out and buying a bunch of different festive pieces. Its a great and easy to wear. Just pair a fun and festive fourth shirt with some cut-off jeans and white sneakers. This is a great one if you will be spending the day playing with cousins and such because it's so comfortable and easy to run around in.

Look Number Two

Here is another great casual look for those, like me, who just love to wear dresses. Pair a striped t-shirt dress with your classic denim jacket or button up. Again you can pair this look with some comfortable white sneakers or swap them out for some cute flats depending on your schedule for the day.

Look Number Three

This next look is more of a French inspired one with the fedora and striped shirt. This is a great one for a casual day around town, and each of the pieces are so easily found in anyone's wardrobe. Pair a basic striped shirt with some denim shorts and gladiator sandals. Keep the sun out of your face with a cute hat, and tie a denim shirt around your waist for when it gets chilly at night.

Look Number Four

If you're looking for something a little more fancy, here is the way to go. It's more subtle as far as patriotic goes, but people still get the idea when you wear it. Sinch a cute button up dress at the waist with a fun striped belt. Then just throw on a pair of heals or wedges to complete the look.

Look Number Five

This just might be my favorite look out of all of them! I love how fashionable it is while still being super festive. Take a peak at your local Goodwill or maybe even your dad's closet to see if you can find a traditional American flag button-up. Just roll up the sleeves and pair it with some high wasted shorts and a white tea. If you're worried about looking shapeless with an oversize shirt, just belt the shorts to add some shape.

Look Number Six

Not everyone has each of the red, white, and blue colors in their wardrobe that matches together. If you feel this way, don't worry. Try and stick to just one of the colors. You can still give the same affect by going for just blue or just white. Pair a simple blue dress with your favorite sneakers and a wide brim hat for the perfect Independence day look. I especially love this look because it's very girly and feminine.

Have a happy Independence day, everyone!
