Today I will be sharing with you all FIVE easy ways to elevate your every-day look. Feel like your stuck in a rut with your outfits recently? Check out these simple tips that can easily transform an uninspired outfit into a look that is chic and trendy.
Monochrome
Having a monochrome outfit will instantly make you look more chic and fashion forward. Pair a sheer white button-up with some white jeans and white sneakers for an exclamatory but simple look or pare your favorite black jeans with a black t-shirt and some black slip on shoes for a cool, trendy outfit. Whatever color scheme, whether it's blacks, whites, grays, or navy's, keep it clean and keep it simple.
Neck Scarves
You don't really see people wearing neck scarves too often. They are a great accessory that can add a feminine and classy vibe to any look, even a pair of jean shorts and a t-shirt. Pick out a bright and colorful one that you can just throw on for some added glam to your every-day style.
Jean Roll
I've been using this trick for years, and I can't get away from it. The majority of the time I wear jeans, I like to roll up the bottoms once or twice. This technique can add structure and shape to baggy boyfriend jeans or show off a really cute pair of shoes. It also makes sandals or heals with an ankle strap look more polished since it isn't scrunched up with the bottom of your jeans.
Prints
Another quit disregarded statement, prints can be so fun and unique. Find one print piece and build your outfit around it with basics to make it stand out. Pieces with fun prints make any look more unique since most of the people around you are probably just wearing solid colors.
The "Third Piece" Rule
Stuck on top + bottom = boring outfit rut? Then follow the "Third Piece" rule. Essentially this means to add a statement third piece to any look. Transform your simple two piece top and bottom outfit by adding a denim or leather jacket, a hat, or any type of statement accessory. Anyone can match a top and a bottom. You can make the outfit special by adding on your "Third Piece."
I hope you found these tips helpful for the next time you open up your closet doors!
