Braided Hairstyles for the Gym/Practice

When we got to the gym or practice, the most common hairstyle is pulling your hair back into a ponytail. However, sometimes we want our hair to look a little cuter, but we still need it out of our face and off our necks. Adding braids is one way I like to do my hair for the gym because they are super easy and stay put. Here are three of my favorite braided hairstyles to do for the gym or for practice.

French Braided Pig Tails

This first one I find quite unique because usually only little girls wear it. However, I find it to look very cute and super breezy on the back of your neck. Start out by spritzing some texturizing spray in your hair so that it will hold. Then part your hair down the middle, all the way down to the nape of the neck. Then French braid each side and secure at the bottom with an elastic. If your hair doesn't hold very well, spritz it with a little bit of hairspray.

Up-Braided Pony Tail

This next look is a twist on your average ponytail. Start by flipping all of your hair over your head, which is facing downward. Begin to French braid the hair up the back of your head until you reach a desired height. Then secure all of the hair at the top with an elastic.

Double Side French Braid

This look is a little more difficult but it looks very cute. part your hair about an inch above your ear on one side of your head. French braid bellow that part and pin it to the back of your head. Then braid another two inches above that and braid that section. Then part your hair on the opposite side of your head and pull all of the hair back into a ponytail.

Stay classy my lovelies,
Molly
