You know those mornings that you wake up and your face just looks lifeless? This is me pretty much every morning. Plus, I only have a few minutes before school, so I can't do a massive face routine. Here are a few simple steps I take to brighten up the face for those rough mornings.
BB Cream
Since apply a foundation can take forever, swap it out for a light coverage bb cream. It combines your moisturizer, sunscreen, and foundation into one step. Use your fingers to blend it smoothly onto your skin. The warmth of your fingers will help blend into your skin flawlessly, and it is much quicker than using a brush.
Brightening Concealer
Next, to tackle those under eye circles. I like to use a brightening concealer under my eyes for a light touch. Then apply some to your cheek bones, the inner corner of your eyes, your eyelids (to conceal any veins and to brighten your eyes), the bridge, of your nose, and your cupid's bow to make your face look less dead.
Blush
Skip the contouring and bronzing and just use a bright colored blush on the apples of your cheeks. The added color to your cheeks makes your skin look so much healthier and wide awake.
Nude Eyeliner
Now take a nude or white eyeliner and line your water line. It's crazy how much bigger this makes your eyes look!
Curl Your Lashes
When I am in a crunch, I just stick to curling my lashes. It opens up your eyes a lot and makes you a little more put together.
I hope these tips help you when you wake up completely dead in the morning and need to look presentable!
Have a lovely day,
Molly
