Falling Into the Season: DIY Starbucks Seasonal Drinks

Fall weather and warm drinks from Starbucks just seem to go together. Don't they? Those drinks can get pretty expensive, though. Want to make them at home instead? Now you can! Here are a couple DIY recipes for some of the great fall drinks that they sell at Starbucks. They are super easy, and they only take a few ingredients.


Pumpkin Spice Latte
Ingredients:
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Pumpkin Puree
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Brewed Coffee
  • Spoon
  • Saucepan
  • Stove
  • Cup

Instructions
  1. Start by mixing one cup of sugar and one cup of water into a saucepan.
  2. Bring the sugar water to a low boil, and then reduce the heat.
  3. stir in two tablespoons of pumpkin puree and two teaspoons of pumpkin spice together. Keep the syrup to a simmer and occasionally stir.
  4. Bring the saucepan off the heat, and let the syrup cool for 15 minutes.
  5. Heat up 1/2 cup brewed coffee and 2 cups of milk.
  6. Add the syrup and enjoy!
Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate


Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons Caramel syrup, heated to luke warm
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Canned whipped cream
  • pinch of medium coarse sea salt
Instructions
  1. Pour 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup into a mug so the inside of the mug is coated well.
  2. Add hot chocolate ,and stir everything.
  3. Top off with cream, drizzle with remaining caramel, and sprinkle with sea salt.
Caramel Apple Spiced Cider


Instructions
  • 2 cups Motts apple juice
  • 3 pumps of Starbucks cinnamon dolce syrup
  • Caramel topping
  • Whipped cream
Instructions
  1. Place apple juice and syrup in microwave safe cup and microwave, stirring regularly.
  2. Microwave for approximately two minutes.
  3. Top with whip cream and caramel topping.
